Curating Everyday Everywhere

The Everyday Projects is global community of visual storytellers committed to combatting harmful misperceptions and rising above persistent inequality. Each week, a different guest curator is invited to select one photograph a day to post on the @EverydayEverywhere Instagram account. I was tasked with curating the account from March 16-22 – an unusual week in which much of the world was under the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The @EverydayEverywhere has over 219,000 followers and nearly 3 million photographs on Instagram are tagged with #everydayeverywhere, so this was a daunting task.
